Richards, DVM. "He was Director of the Feline Health Center at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine
(CUCVM), past-president of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and editor-in-chief of Cat

Dr. Richards, in his lifetime, has written, edited, and spoken of feline care a lot that so many people

Richards, Jr., responded to readers' questions until his untimely death in April, 2007.
At that time, the name of the column was changed to Ask Elizabeth in honor of the Cornell Feline Health Center's
mascot and spokeskitty, Elizabeth. As a kitten, Elizabeth was rescued from the dangers of living life as a feral
cat.
Today, she enjoys her status as a feline ambassador, and with help from feline consultants , Drs. Carolyn
